Follow Tsvangirai’s campaign in Google Earth

June 15th, 2008

Charles Worringham has added information on Morgan Tsvangirai’s campaign trail to Google Earth:

I’ve compiled Morgan Tsvangirai’s campaign from June 2nd until yesterday, with information on campaign stops, detentions by police, vehicle impoundments, and references to all information from on-line news sources. I’ll update it as required. The tour will take you round parts of Zimbabwe he has covered in the last two weeks.

More here.

Soon Ted (The Evil Dictator) will be history.
Remember it’s darkest before dawn. Soon it will be day break, a new day, new President, and a new Zimbabwe.

His recent war rhetoric is part of the campaign of intimidation designed to discourage people from coming out in their numbers to vote him out. Or is he hinting that after June 27 he will be a fugitive because he has a lot to answer for.

Our prayers are with the campaign trail, President Morgan Tsvangirai, and all the brave masses of Zimbabwe.

    GOD BLESS YOU.

  2. Peace please.

It would be good to have such a map showing the areas where violence is going on and also showing roads which are unsafe to use, etc, for those back home.

With great vigilance, many ordinary Americans of all races, colors, and creeds are watching what is occurring in beautiful Zimbabwe. We are angered and saddened by the violence perpetrated by the government against its own people. Staving off the inevitable by using force is an obsolete tactic, employed only by oppressors whose only interest is power and self-enrichment. The forces of history are on the side of the citizens of Zimbabwe.

We ordinary Americans hold their deepest hopes for positive change in alignment with our own thoughts and prayers said around the dinner table, in the lovely green woods, or wherever we choose to share solidarity with our Zimbabwean sisters and brothers.

We love you Zimbabwe! Fear not man who can kill the body and not the soul. Our Lord will not leave or forsake you. May He strengthen, guide and equip you.
