Please notice a pattern here. In the early 80s ZAPU leaders and their activists as well as ordinary villagers and residents were treated in an exactly similar pattern.

Unfortunately the independence uforia and the tribalistic tone of the politics then took its toll on a party that was regionally and tribally singled out as traitors and dissidents.

Then came ZUM which was discarded as a party led by a drunkard.

The 2000 parliamentary elections, and the rejection of the much vouched for constitution later led to the singling out of white farmers as traitors, losing their farms in the most barbaric circumstances ever.

Now its the MDC's supporters, beaten, tortured and killed country wide.

Firstly it was tribalism, then racism, then lastly selfishness by the top leadership.

All along it has been selfishness in the guise of different emotionally and hate charged descriptions.

I remember very well the chants, 'pasi nemadissidents, pasi ne nhunzva tunzva, pasi naNkomo and now pasi ne MDC or pasi na Morgan' at ZANU MEETINGS.

IF MIANMA/THAILAND can resist pressure form outside and within, Zanu must be learning or has masterminded a few tricks from this and remember mugabe goes there on holidays.<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('271562','Matibili.'); return false;">Reply to this comment</a> --- <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('271562','Matibili.','Please notice a pattern here.

I wrote a short letter and sent it to the UN, AU, SADC, and SA govt e-mails that are in the Action Contact Database to lobby even more about the Zanu-PF violence in Zimbabwe.

I think this should be presented as an Action Topic so people are encouraged to send a message to lobby for a quick end to this violence.

––––

Dear Sir, Dear Maam,

I send you copy of the report below about which I am very concerned.

Pleadingly I ask you to do all that is in you power to put an end to these happenings in Zimbabwe.

Effectively the parties are holding talks in South Africa to deal a peacefull and standing resolution of the problem in Zimbabwe.

There is absolutely no reason that Zanu PF continue the violence toward the people and avoid injured to recieve medical attention.

Please help stop this madness.

Yours sincerely,
––––––––
I pasted the report after this text and sent it to more than 200 mail addresses. I have had four replies since this morning so I think we must all do it to keep the pressure on.
