A Bitter and Twisted man, who sees a foe in every corner.
How does he sleep at night. Grace won’t help, even with the Viagra.
Retire Old man…Your time is past

Whether this works remains to be seen; Mugabe is certainly not going gracefully, but at this stage I think it’s worth congratulating all who have kept Sokwanele going over the last few grim months, especially those who kept its Contact Database going and those who continued to keep faith with the idea that something better was possible.

@William -
Thank you William.
It needs to be said that those who kept the database going were largely all of you good people, researching and emailing contacts to us.
Speaking personally, it was the energy and knowledge that that there was a crowd of people out there determined to help and keep informed about the Zimbabwean crisis that has helped (cajoled, forced, pushed
) me along even when I was at my most tired and most despondent.

The live BBC coverage of the Mugabe speech was a great opportunity to see this man in action, and made it abundently clear that Mugabe is suffering from the onset of Alzheimers.
The rambling, the long pauses, the outburts, his obsession with the past, his paranoia with anything British, his body language, his hunched over posture, the punctuated enunciation, and then the half slurred words, these are all the early signs of dementia.
It is absolutely criminal that this half deranged man is still allowed to be in command of a country.

@ Faraway
I couldn’t agree more! It’s quite pathetic in this day and age.

MT inspires me. RGM revolts me.
Zim will not become attractive to return to while that simian savage, Mugabe, is anywhere around.

Anyone know where I can find the full video of MT’s speech? the text is inspiring, and a video would just be amazing.

Just everything is summed up in this clip – watch the military man behind, the body language, the standard of rhetoric …
and there are many, many, of us ‘British’ who stand four-square with Zimbabweans. But the Zimbabweans who have brought Bob to this moment know it ;]
