Medication is unaffordable

October 15th, 2008

I am on chronic-care network, which means I have to get a constant supply of nefidepine tablets for control of hypertension (bp).

It is very difficult to get these medicines, as a month’s supply calls for around Z$40 trillion but I am only covered for 2.5 trillion on the network. This means I have to pay the balance of Z$37.5 trillion.

At the same time I will need to raise money for my children at school and all other basics.

How am I expected to cope in this enviroment?
