The worst is yet to come
Armed riot police in full gear where patrolling Harare’s streets in police trucks today anticipating probably public unrest as the situation on the streets is increasingly becoming desperate, a time-bomb waiting to explode.
The heavy, intimidating police presence is another card being played by the Mugabe regime to scare the people into line as anger and frustration spreads around the country as news that Mugabe intends to form a new government without Tsvangirai spreads like wild fire.
A guy who gave me a lift out of town was of the opinion that the MDC and the world should adopt a wait and see attitude, and let Mugabe do what he wants to do and proceed to form a government alone. He got us into this mess in the first place and intends to finish us off – so his view is let us let him be as it is proving difficult to knock some sense into his old head.
People feel that SADC has let them down in supporting Mugabe and continues to blunder in as far as seeking a resolution on the Zimbabwean issue is concerned.
The only leader from Southern Africa who has public support in Zimbabwe is Botswana’s Iain Khama, and his call for another election is the only route to deliver Zimbabwe from Mugabe’s without further unnecessary loss of life.
A disappointed father with four school-going kids was of the opinion that schools are not going to open their doors for learning next year, given that most of have them have shut their doors before the end of this year’s academic year.
The worst is yet to come for Zimbabwe and the collapse of Sunday’s talks has deepened the crisis.

It seems it is essential the real news, the truth, is dispersed throughout Zimbabwe as soon and as best as possible. MDC suporters should not feel they have been deserted by Morgan, as the Herald mouthpiece is so good at doing.
Hopefully all the hungry will back the ‘wait and see attitude.” But they must also be heard, in massive numbers, through protests and letters against the tyrannical government. It’s the only way the wake up the rest of the country.
