Deon Theron in custody – was taking pictures of the scene of the accident
In our earlier message about the car accident, that we now know has resulted in the death of Morgan Tsvangirai’s wife Susan, we wrote that “someone in the district went to the area to take photographs of the accident scene but the police took away his camera.”
We can now confirm that the person who went to the scene of the accident is a commerical farmer in the area, Deon Theron, and we have been told that he is in police custody. Deon Theron is the Vice President of the Commercial Farmers Union (CFU).
Update – 7 March 2009: Deon Theron has been released.

Tsvangirai should not go ahead with this so-called unity government. Mugabe is not sencire. They will do what happened to Guranga in Sudan.

If foulplay is suspected it is indeed a sad day for any unity government to even try to carry on. Let us pray that it is not so.

Have even received calls from Switzerland, Spain and they are deeply sad by the news of Susan Tsvangari’s death. We are very sad about this and feel for Morgan. She did not die in vain, because she has highlighted the most stressful task that her husband has undertaken, and he shall win because the whole world respects him Zimbo expression “You will never get a Zimbo down” Go for it Roy, show the prison how filthy conditions will be highlighted all over the world by the incarcaration of such hard working members of society. Keep it up, You’re a beaut! The world is watching.
