THE MINUTE I READ THIS NEWS MY HEART SUNK, EVEN THOUGH I AM ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE GLOBE.
MR. TSVANGIRAI HAS SO BRAVELY STOOD UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT FOR HIS COUNTRY. FOR THIS TO HAPPEN TO HIM AND HIS FAMILY IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.
I PROMISE THAT I WILL WRITE MY CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTITIVES AND DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO SPREAD THIS NEWS. THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AND THE REST OF THE WORLD NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING. I KNOW THEY FEEL THE TIME HAS COME.
THIS HAS TO STOP.

My condolences to Prime Minister Tsvangirai, his family, and the people of Zimbabwe.
The terror sweeping your country will not last forever. There will be a day when the rest of the world stands up for freedom, justice, and the rule of law. It is sad that so many are dying and being subjected to misery by Mugabe’s regime. But freedom and human rights outlast all regimes, peace loving and despotic alike.

March 7th, 2009 17:57
When I heard the news of this tragedy many thoughts flashed through my mind.When the initial anger gave way to more sober thoughts I wept not only for Morgan but also for Zimbabwe.If this is the work of men then they have struck at the heart of the MDC project.IF THE INTENTION WAS TO EITHER BREAK MORGAN HIMSELF OR HIS WILL,I FEAR THAT THESE EVIL MEN WHO MEET BY NIGHT MAY HAVE SUCCEEDED.I shall pray that God heals Morgan’s flesh wounds, but the scar he now carries in his heart will never heal.I pray that Mai’s soul is now at peace and as the Lord says “revenge is mine,” I pray that it is swift and just if this is the work of evil men.
March 7th, 2009 17:57
once born death awaits.Though many families lost relatives and their beloved ones, this death of Susan is surely untimely and very painful.We can not do much as people but just to say we shall meet on the second advent of christ if we all die in Christ.
My encouragement to the nation is that “Let’s always obey God like the two hebrew midwives(Exodus 1:15-21).

March 7th, 2009 22:01
Dear Prime Mininster Morgan Tsvangirai
Without question, this is the darkest Friday of (y)our life. It never rains, but it pours. But everything happens for a reason. God also wants the best because if Heaven is filled with the bad, Him and the Angels will be sad. Remember Mama has been promoted to Glory and you need to focus so that you will meet with her one day when the time comes.
My sympathy is with you, your family, Methodist church, MDC, and Zimbabwe at large.
There are some things that are hard to take, but remember, what can separate us from the love of God? death, sickness, …. in all these, we are more than conquerors. The only way to remember Mama is to make sure that you deliver as this was her wish. Ask God for wisdom and strength so that you can leave a legacy when flesh and soul separate. I pray for your speedy recovery.
I will be praying for you.
May God rest Mama Susan’s soul! Amen.
March 7th, 2009 22:49

You have given so much for Zimbabwe in your life so far and we will forever be in yours and your wifes debt. Susan was truely the Mother of Zimbabwe and we salute her as your loving wife and beloved mother to your children. She was always a shining beacon of dignity, courage, love, humility and humanity. Susan has been taken from us when she had so much more to give and we are truely saddened and will grieve with you. Be strong Sir and get well soon. You are destined for greatness and we will walk by your side all the way! Rest in peace beloved Susan.
March 7th, 2009 22:54
My deepest sympathies to the Tsvangirai family for their very sad and unimaginable loss. Zimbabwe has lost a gracious and very respectable model at a time when it needed her most. Farewell to you Mai Tsvangirayi.
This event has hit me like lightening. Some people are making big personal sacrifices for our nation.
I am ashamed that I am not active in politics or doing anything to make the future of or children an grandchildren safer and more prosperous.
From now on I will contribute more to charity and active human rights organisations in our country.
I wonder how MT felt with Mugabe, Grace, Munangagwa, Bonyongwe, Kasukuwere…Just hours after losing his wife and survin the crash! No wonder he has left the country. He is human like all of us.
What can I say to MT.
COURAGE BROTHER. SOMEONE SAID-’THE GLORY OF LIFE IS IN NEVER FALING BUT IN RISING EVERYTIME WE FALL.

Dear Mr Prime Minister,
I was deeply distressed to learn of the passing away of your beloved wife.Mrs Susan Tsvangirai was regarded with very high esteem by my family,for her motherhood and wonderful modest personality which makes her a role model for many Zimbabwean women.I understand that the void left by 31 years of marriage will be difficult to fill,especially at this crucial time when you are laden with enormous responsibility of helping to rebuild our shattered country.It must be very hard for your children too.Please accept my deep condolences for you and the children for your sad loss.Ashbel and Sipiwe Ndewere.United Kingdon.

Dear Mr Tsvangirai and family,
Great sympathy for your sad loss of beautiful Susan, mother of Zimbabwe, comforter and protector. Long may Susan, Mai Tsvangirai live proudly in our memories. God speed you in all your work and give you strength now and in the future, to carry on the important task you have begun to save the Zimbabwean people. In memory of beloved Susan, these lines by Mary Frye are quoted as a tribute to her courage and dedication to Zimbabwe:
DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE AND WEEP
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!
Mary Frye (1932)

March 9th, 2009 03:07
I know that a few words written thousands of kilometres away from the safety of new Zealand cannot really help you now, but I wanted to share my sense of outrage at the latest blow Morgan Tsvangirai and his family have had to suffer. That outrage is tempered with a deep feeling of sorrow for the family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you back in my much-loved homeland, Zimbabwe. I think especially of the Tsvangirai family who have tragically lost a wife and mother I trust that the dream that Susan would have shared with you will become a reality soon.
March 9th, 2009 03:19
My heartfelt condolences for Morgan. In times like this a man may need to know that in this crazy world there are people who support him absolutely. Know that you name will go down alongside people like Ghandi and Nelson Mandela for the incredible patience you have shown. In contrast you opponents names will be remembered alongside the despotic oppressors of the world.
May our words strengthen your resolve and help you through these difficult times. You are a hero.
Graham Mason – Australia.

Dear Mt Tsvangarai,
I hope you now understand what lots of other Zimbabweans have been going through for the last ten years, as they lost loved ones, sometimes under suspicious circumstances, and sometimes uder blatantly obvious ones.
I also hope you will have a clearer idea of what it is you are asking them to do the next time you call for “Reconciliation” and “forgiveness” and then ask them to sit around a table with ZANu inorder to work together for Zimbabwe.

Dear Mr Tsvangarai and family and friends,
Two weeks before the accident I asked God what I could do for Zim (my ex-home – I now live in Australia but the minute Zim comes right Ill be back – it is and always will be my only home – I am so homesick). I left there 2 years ago – I have a heart for you (Mr T) and for the country and all its people (the best in the world, black and white). God told me – pray for Tsvangarai – I heard that clearly and every morning I sat on the back doorstep and prayed for you – I cannot understand why this happened especially since I prayed for your safety every day – I am so so so sad for you and the fact that your dear wife died – since hearing Ive bearly been able to function – in the history of Zimbabwe it is one of the biggest impacts I have personally felt – I dont know what Id do if I was you – soldier on or quit – you have now paid a personal price thats so high – I believe in you Mr T – always have – I have watched you and you and God and who you carefully choose are my hope for Zim – I continue to support and pray for you whatever you choose – I think you are an amazing man – please dont turn bad ever please – you will be the next Mandela – I love you and believe in you (Im a white female Zimbabwean aged 43 years and want live in the new Zim). I worked for the government for 8 years in National Parks.

Dear Prime Minister Tsvangirai:
Not a single day goes by that I don’t read about your struggle for the freedom of the great nation of Zimbabwe, with its amazing people. You are strongly supported even by those of us from Orange County, California, who have visited your country. Trying to keep your courageous battle in the minds of our elected representatives is VERY important to us. Your sadness at losing your beloved wife can only be mitigated by the knowledge of how proud she must have been every single day of your tireless work, and the beautiful children you produced together. God rest her wonderful soul. God bless you and protect you in the battle for democracy that you WILL win.
March 9th, 2009 07:55

We wish to pass our condolences to Mr Tsvangirai for the loss of his wife. Good people do not live long. Surely, if this was the work of some human being, that was really evil. How can somebody cause the death of an innocent person. Nyaway, let them know that those who live by the sword will die by the sword.

Mr Tsvangerai – we are so very sad for you and your children.This little poem may help – hang it somewhere where you can look at it often and see some light in your grief. She is Gone
You can shed tears that she is gone,
Or you can smile because she lived,
You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back,
Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her
Or you can be full of the love that you shared,
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that she is gone
Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on,
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back,
Or you can do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

To people of Zimbabwe, lets accept what has happened to our wonderful daughter of the soul for only God knows the truth. If the death of our beloved Susan Tsvangirayi was man-made then let God deal and expose the perpetratotrs. Surely the day of reckoning is coming, for whatever evil a human-being does in secrecy one day God will surely reward that person publicly. To you Prime Minister Tsvoangirayi and family you are not alone in this trying and bereiving time we are equally saddened by this. Remember God is for us all, and i pray for divine comfort to you, know that our Redeemer (JESUS CHRIST ) is by your side. March 9th, 2009 10:23
Dear Mr Tsvangirai and family
Please accept my sincere condolences on the tragic loss of your wife and mother.
As a Zimbabwean, I count Susan as my First Lady, and I am deeply saddened that she was taken before she could fully become the mother of our nation. Her courage, humility, strength and loyalty shone through: through all the difficult times. She was a true mother, unlike the one who currently mascarades as one.
I, too, lost a parent who was involved in the struggle to bring freedom and justice to our land. Like Susan, he was taken before he got a chance to see a new Zimbabwe become a reality. It seems so unfair, but I know that both He and Susan are watching and waiting with us for a time when justice shall prevail.
Keep strong, we will overcome.
Love and Blassings
Andrew Hartnack

You are not alone. We are many to support you in this ultimate tragedy and wish the best for you, your family and your country. May your soul mend and may you find the strength and love to overcome this trial.
We know that you have endured incredible difficulties and obstacles in your struggle for democracy in Zimbabwe. We followed the events, attacks and atrocities in the lead-up to last spring’s elections, (including your several arrests while trying to conduct your campaign,) and in the aftermath. We wished with all our heart for an end to the suffering of Zimbabweans, and a new reign of justice and freedom.

Your dear and lovely Susan is now in peace and will live eternally in our hearts.

He will come at a time and day of His choosing;
He will choose the best of His shepherds to be by His side;
He has taken Susan Nyaradzo Tsvangirai because she has, in her time on earth,
exemplified the virtues of humility and motherliness well grounded in our culture – hunu hwedu.
Words are only words; they can never aptly describe the person we mourn today;
They can never replace the bedrock of courage, wisdom and selflessness that being the life Susan lived.
In this moment of sorrow for the Zimbabwean nation and the Tsvangirai family in particular;
Let us always remember the values that Susan passed on to us; for this was her gift to us;
May the memories of her inner beauty be the guiding principle for posterity;
…….the journey that Morgan and Susan started is but incomplete without mention
of those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice
Susan only gave her best so that we may one day BE FREE
Rest in Peace

Another solider has fallen in the great fight for zimbabwe
I feel we should all stop and think, if Susan Tsvangirai could play such a modest roles in support of a better zimbabwe by just supporting the frontline fighters, then where do we as zimbabweans across the globle stand.
What liitle, modest ativity have we dedicated ourselves to doing to help support the cause, It ovious that many have and thats part of the reason why zimbabwe hs not yet reached the stage where it could be compared to somalia in all its lawlesness.
I salute her for pushing those who push!
And to Morgan, keep Pushing as hard as it maybe WE are with you.
RIP Comrade Susan Tsvangirai

I can’t begin to imagine what you have suffered but I humbly offer my appreciation of your efforts and say to you that you can do this, just beware of the snake with the gift.
