PS Mr Mutambara :I would be interested to know your views on the murder of Mr Terry Ford and the many others like him both black and white. Are these killers to face real justice or pushed aside, lost in a bureaucratic muddle of lies, half truths and political expediency.
This is your opportunity to speak up.
Reply to this comment --- <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('36964','kalulu','PS Mr Mutambara :I would be interested to know your views on the murder of Mr Terry Ford and the many others like him both black and white.
This rhetoric about struggles and wanting freedom is becoming a bit well worn. What exactly are your plans for the economic and social rehabilitation of our decimated, abused and plundered land.
Bottom line...To start fixing the mess you need money...where are you going to get it from and with what collateral ? Take some loans from the World Bank? go hat in hand to the former colonial opressors ? The institution of democracy is the easy part, the hard part is maintaining it.
Reply to this comment --- <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('36881','kalulu','This rhetoric about struggles and wanting freedom is becoming a bit well worn.
The silence of the south african government on the Zimbabwe issues like the flattening of informal settlements, the eviction of white farmers is an embarrisment to me as a south african. Thabo the struggle is over now, the new struggle is poverty, hunger and AIDS. Get with the program.
Reply to this comment --- <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('36064','Peter Mills','The silence of the south african government on the Zimbabwe issues like the flattening of informal settlements, the eviction of white farmers is an embarrisment to me as a south african.

[...] The response from Zimbabwe’s bloggers has been a cautioned skepticism. Said This is Zimbabwe, Like most people, I’ve been miserable over the impact that a shattered opposition party has had on the struggle for human rights and freedom that everyone in our country deserves. So I’m not making any judgements now, simply saying that I’ll be keeping a close eye on Arthur G.O. Mutambara, a name that will no doubt start appearing in the media. Will his arrival on the political scene make a difference to the struggle for democracy in Zimbabwe? With the way things are now, we can only hope so … but experience says that only time will tell. Zimpundit is less optimistic and feels Mutambara already sounds a lot like Mugabe. [...]
