At nearby Makerere University in Uganda, two PhD philosophers list 'Human Rights' as one of their philosophical specializations, and much of their scholarship focuses on the 'right to food.'

Presently, there are no philosophers at Zimbabwe University who specialize in the Philosophy of Human Rights, despite a UNESCO Chair on Human Rights in the Law School. Perhaps a Zimbabwean philosopher might wish to contact Makerere University, read some of their scholarship on the 'right to food,' and then invite Mr. Mugabe and the Politburo and Central Committee of the ZANU-PF to attend free seminars given to any interested philosophy students of Zimbabwe University.

If the farms can't feed Zimbabwe, find a new philosophy.
Reply to this comment --- <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('1197','a Duoist','At nearby Makerere University in Uganda, two PhD philosophers list \'Human Rights\' as one of their philosophical specializations, and much of their scholarship focuses on the \'right to food.\'\r\n\r\nPresently, there are no philosophers at Zimbabwe University who specialize in the Philosophy of Human Rights, despite a UNESCO Chair on Human Rights in the Law School.
Thank you for having the courage for report about issues like these that would otherwise disappear between the cracks and be lost to the rest of the world.

I always think to myself that after we are done with all the numbers and statistics, the worst part about all of this is that in reducing our people to circumstances such as these where our children die for lack of food, our leaders demonstrate a terrifying lack of compassion and regard for the lives of their countrymen whom they are elected to serve.
Reply to this comment --- Quote from this comment
