Send a spoof apology on behalf of Paradzai Zimondi

Spoof apology form

We think the nation deserves an apology from Paradzai Zimondi, Zimbabwe’s Prisons Commissioner. Hundreds of prisoners have suffered and died due to gross negligence and his failure to do his job. Despite international public outrage, he has not said sorry, so please use this letter to apologise to people you know on his behalf and email your spoof apology far and wide.

An update on the political abductees: Three of the people who were abducted by the state last year are still in custody – Shadreck Andresson Manyere is the only one still being held in appalling conditions at Chikurubi Maximum Security. The other two, Chris Dhlamini and Gandhi Mudzingwa, are being held at Avenues Clinic in Harare. All three were denied bail earlier this week – SWRA has more details. Gandhi Mudzingwa filed another High Court application yesterday afternoon, still seeking his release from custody on bail (via The Zimbabwe Times).

Brilliant! I must say how much I enjoyed doing this…great job and very humourous.

I sent to various zim gov addresses! Doubt I’ll get a reply…

How about the seven who are missing? Do we just accept that they have been murdered and nothing will be done about it?

@Don Cox – No we must not accept that nothing is done about the missing activists. People who receive a spoof apology also receive a more serious message from Sokwanele; we remind recipients about the seven missing activists and insist that they must not be forgotten. So the more people who send the ‘apology’, the more reminders that will go out with it.
