The reason? Mitchell Farm supplies huge amounts of cabbages and tomatoes to the army barracks in the area. This highlights the moral dilemma faced by white farmers as well as anyone else doing business in Zimbabwe - if making your living or paying your taxes actually helps perpetuate Mugabe's brutal regime, what is the right thing to do? Should one pack up and leave? Should one refuse all government contracts? Or should one ignore the moral issues and supply the regime with it's daily needs?
