Harrassment of Dhlamini and Mudzingwa continues
April 21st, 2009
We’ve received more news from the Avenues Clinic. The same five men mentioned in our previous post returned to the hospital yesterday evening and told Dhlamini and Mudzingwa that they were just “passing through”.
After they left, eight prison guards arrived with AKs and told the men they had come to “guard” them. They stayed in the tiny ward with them all night and in the morning were replaced by three others who are now sitting outside the ward.
This is grotesque intimidation, and illegal – the men have been bailed!
A staff member at the Avenues Clinic said that a silver Isuzu twin cab with a canopy is parked outside – a vehicle they believe is used by the CID guys from Law and Order.

Huh. Get someone to slash the tyres; or “fish” the car (mashed tinned sardines and milk down the air vents, the car will smell terrible for evermore).
Seriously, all I can think is that these two guys in their hospital ward must be a HUGE threat if they require this kind of attention. Even though the charges against them are clearly flimsy and without foundation. My guess is, the credible stories they have to tell about torture and their ability to identify their abductors and torturers.
