It is true that Mugabe and those close to him have profited from Zimbabwe in every way possible, and will continue to do so for a very long time to come, but do we really know what life would be like without Mugabe, and have we even really stopped to consider this or what it might be like.
Reply to this comment --- Quote from this comment

In a country that is trying to build up its economy to where it use to be 20 years ago, I don't know how forcing Nestle to move its operations to another country would help anything.

The viewpoint expressed in this article is one-sided and I agree that the former owners of these commercial farms should've been paid a fair rate for their land. What I haven't seen any talk of in this article is about the way forward. One option is to ban Nestle from buying any milk from Mrs. Mugabe's farm. But what is the result of this? Does Nestle close up shop in Zimbabwe, or is it just their dairy products? There is a lot of talk from the donor world saying value addition is the key to development...so here is a company doing just that, they support a lot of jobs and likely create more affordable products for the population.
Another option would be to work with Nestle and Mrs. Mugabe to ensure that she rights her wrongs for obtaining land illegally.

Lastly, I dont see the mechanism for boycotting Nestle in the developed world. To me, a much more effective approach would be to pressure Nestle as a loyal customer. Tell them you care and would like to see real improvements in its procurement policies and actions.
Reply to this comment --- <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('274408','Mark Hemsworth','In a country that is trying to build up its economy to where it use to be 20 years ago, I don\'t know how forcing Nestle to move its operations to another country would help anything. \r\n\r\nThe viewpoint expressed in this article is one-sided and I agree that the former owners of these commercial farms should\'ve been paid a fair rate for their land.
This is *another reason to boycott Nestle - there's been a campaign against them since 1977 http://www.babymilkaction.org/pages/boycott.html
Reply to this comment --- Quote from this comment
