I am an American married to a Zimbabwean.Jesse has spoken the truth. My husband is from Mbare and I can see him in the footage of the man with his family celebrating their son's birthday.Zimbabwean's are beautiful and dignified.They don't deserve this.In the name of Jesus,God move quickly on on their behalf..like a mighty rushing wind. God bless them and restore everything the locusts have eaten. We have waited too long.Let the time be now. All I can say is that I pray people wishing to implement changes in the government will be able to restore thier dignity and instill the pride that they have in their country among there fellow Zimbabweans. Let us see a harmonious and peaceful Zimbabwe, the bread basket of Africa, restored to its full glory. I know many of my Zimbabwean friends will feel ashamed at the actions taken by their government. Chaos is not the answer. What is required is a legitimate, transition of power, backed by the majority of residents. Just what? The fear of many is that the chaos ahead will bring its own nightmares. Sad that RM has pushed the country to this point. Change will come. Probably come soon. But whether that change will bring real improvement to Zimbabwe is the great unknown. The economy (1600% inflation) is leaving people with fewer and fewer options. People have to survive and taking action may be the last hope for many.
