i have been visiting your blog while researching about zimbabwe's hyperinflation. i feel very sad while trying to imagine the conditions there that are worsening with each passing day.
and then i came upon this post where you mention psychopathy.
i have been "educated" by a particular website that has thoroughly researched psychopathy and i hope this will help you if you are interested in learning more.

it is my personal opinion that additional study into this subject will indeed help.
you can start with this link: http://www.cassiopaea.com/cassiopaea/psychopath.htm
and you can even download for free an ebook about psychopathy (The Mask of Sanity by Hervey Cleckley) (link to the ebook: http://www.cassiopaea.com/cassiopaea/cleckley.pdf) from that same page.

it is hard to conceive the idea that mr. mugabe is a person with a conscience like the rest of us. but once you can imagine what it would be like to be a person without conscience, and how easy it is to feign conscience (because people with conscience believe everyone has conscience), you can begin to understand why, in spite of all the atrocities that has already been committed and driving the economy to the ground, why the populace does not rise up as one to put a stop to it.
(well, "divide and conquer" tactics by the psychopathic regime also help in suppressing the eventual "rebellion" of the people)<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('90008','melatonin'); return false;">Reply to this comment</a> --- <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('90008','melatonin','i have been visiting your blog while researching about zimbabwe\'s hyperinflation. i feel very sad while trying to imagine the conditions there that are worsening with each passing day.\r\nand then i came upon this post where you mention psychopathy.\r\ni have been \"educated\" by a particular website that has thoroughly researched psychopathy and i hope this will help you if you are interested in learning more.\r\n\r\nit is my personal opinion that additional study into this subject will indeed help.\r\nyou can start with this link: http:\/\/www.cassiopaea.com\/cassiopaea\/psychopath.htm\r\nand you can even download for free an ebook about psychopathy (The Mask of Sanity by Hervey Cleckley) (link to the ebook: http:\/\/www.cassiopaea.com\/cassiopaea\/cleckley.pdf) from that same page.\r\n\r\nit is hard to conceive the idea that mr. mugabe is a person with a conscience like the rest of us. but once you can imagine what it would be like to be a person without conscience, and how easy it is to feign conscience (because people with conscience believe everyone has conscience), you can begin to understand why, in spite of all the atrocities that has already been committed and driving the economy to the ground, why the populace does not rise up as one to put a stop to it.\r\n(well, \"divide and conquer\" tactics by the psychopathic regime also help in suppressing the eventual \"rebellion\" of the people)'); return false;">Quote from this comment</a></div>

Though one can disect the Zimbabwe collapse with a left brained, objective, non-emotional approach; our hearts and right brain are filled with sadness, anger, amazement, and embarrasment of what is generally construed as mainstream selfish, dictorial African leadership. The anger in us says: "This man is hardened and thick skinned yet penetratingly bad to the bad. He is so unselfaware and ungodly - a son of darkness and evil"

I err to a right brain judgement in my weakness.<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('76957','Anil'); return false;">Reply to this comment</a> --- <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('76957','Anil','Though one can disect the Zimbabwe collapse with a left brained, objective, non-emotional approach; our hearts and right brain are filled with sadness, anger, amazement, and embarrasment of what is generally construed as mainstream selfish, dictorial African leadership.
