State sanctioned looting

The price control groups are moving from business to business and supermarket to supermarket throughout the country; many of them are accompanied by their families.

As they move into the businesses their families load up hundreds of millions of dollars worth of goods and take them away at the slashed prices.

They then move to the informal trading areas such as bus stops and then sell the goods at inflated prices thereby profiteering from the chaos.

Nothing amazes me anymore about what is going on in Zim.
Mugabe has destroyed the country in an attempt to punish the whites and reward the blacks.
Unfortunately for the vast majority of the people he has brought mizery and in a lot of cases starvation and the spectre of widesacale famine.
This latest case of profitiring is just another nail in Zim’s coffin.
Get rid of of Mugabe and all his cronies and put in place a truly democratic government and maybe things will start to turn around. But Mugabe’s legacy will on through at least another generation. He must be ousted now!

Thank you for your comments. We would rather not ‘censor’ people, which is why we clearly say that we will not publish comments containing hate speech, obscenities or expressions of violence. We hope that being so forewarned will give our audience a chance to re-think how they express their views. We are a group that fights for freedom, justice, and equality for all and we are opposed to racism or discrimination - we won’t allow our site to be used as a vehicle for the things we stand against.
