What is going on in the military?
There has been an unconfirmed rumour that mutiny in the ranks is brewing.
A couple of weeks ago we heard that the heads of the military flew to Bulawayo for an emergency meeting to quell disquiet in the ranks.
Apparently the lower ranks are fed up: nobody below the rank of officer received meat in their diet and for passing out parade new graduates have to buy their own boots.
The rumour is that low ranking military have now declared that should there be an uprising they will not fire against their fellow Zimbabweans.
Has anyone heard anything else??
