Zimbabwe, very very sad state of affairs. You can really see a difference when you cross from SA to Zim. It is so annoying when a lot of things come in your way that dont need to be there that can spoil your holiday if you are there on holiday. Regardless of all that is going on there it is still home and a place I would love to go back to.
Reply to this comment --- <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('117816','Gerri','Zimbabwe, very very sad state of affairs.
God bless you. Recently I've developed a bit of a fascination w/ your country. I am an American man living in Alabama and I'm shocked at what i'm finding out about your once great country the more i research. In some ways Rhodesia and Apartheid South Africa mirror the 'Jim Crow' southern US, where I live in many ways. However, the results are starkly different. British Colonialism is a complicated matter. It brought so much good, but at the same time wasn't fair to the indigenous.

I'm saddened to hear about what is going on in your once thriving nation. Mugabe has to go. As an American I'm frustrated at the hypocricy of trying to rebuild the middle east under the guise attacking the 'Axis of Evil' when atrocities like Zimbabwe are taking place.

Thank you for your posts and I look forward to hopefully creating some continuing dialogue w/ you.

Best Regards,
