Shifting moods and vibes …
The news in now is that the streets of Harare have gone quiet. That the atmosphere there is tense with police being deployed all over the city.
Tension is rising with every minute they delay the announcement of the votes.
In contrast, in Bulawayo celebrations are starting.
It’s a rollercoaster ride.

The only change that seems certain is the fast depreciation of the dollar, change of cabinet, and nothing else. You think the old man can lose. NEVER. Some of us just left the country after losing hope. Hope you do the same. Its better than protests, what do you think?

Shifting moods… but don’t let’s let them ’shift’ the polling station results. Even if they are not called the ‘official results’ please can someone put the polling station results on the internet. Polling results are in the public domain from the moment they are posted at the polling station. Please publish what you have somewhere.
And thanks for your wonderful blog!

Nyagura, leave your depressing messages for another day
Now we need to hop, and those of us left here must make sure our vote does not get stolen
This is Zimbabwe’s day. Help us save it!

I still cannot believe how much these last years have left the trace of trauma in Zimbabweans. I’ve just spoken to two friends in Harare and they sounded as if they were scarred to hope and to believe that Bob’s era is finished! I wish I was in Zim to celebrate, today is the DAY and Zimbabweans must just prepare themselves to reconstruct the real Zimbabwe, where people will be encouraged to contribute to its rebirth instead of having laws supporting a bunch of zozies! Good bye Bob, farewell to whichever country is prepared to have you! Is it Iran, Russia or China?

Stalin once said that : “It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.”
We are behind you and praying that Mugabe does not get a way with it again.
