Unconfirmed numbers and information
Latest unofficial results are that the MDC have won 199 out of 210 constituencies. We stress, this is UNOFFICIAL and UNCONFIRMED.
Earlier today we were given this info. It’s a bit conflicting and was VERY unofficial. The general view at this stage of the day was that the first 31 seats had gone to MDC MT.
But if you scan down the list you’ll see some wins attributed to MDC. We assume this is meant to be MDC MT but we don’t know. You’ll also see a win attributed to ‘Ump’ - keep in mind that UMP is now two constituencies in 2008. (It was only one in 2005. See our gerrymandering graphs here).
I guess what is important (if its true) is that the info detailed below are not wins for Zanu PF!
So please, this is not final or confirmed. We’re not even sure if the ‘wins’ below include ALL the results for all the polling stations in the constituency. If not, then we still don’t have the full picture.
We need to wait for final confirmed results from the ‘horses mouth’, which we will publish as soon as we can. But you can see why our hearts are racing a little and we’re full of hope. Use this in the meanwhile to whet your appetites and dream a little.

Your numbers are not only unconfirmed but too good to be true. Those statistics are not possible especially in the rural areas. Can you please bring us unbiased results, not necessarily official. Dont play with our anxiety.. we arent fools

OK, so maybe these stats are too good to believe, but Nyagura - to say Bob is strong in the rural areas may actually not be the case, and probably wasn’t the case in 2000, 2002 or 2005. He just used the rural areas to fix the numbers making it look as though he was popular in these areas…?

Mugabe already won the elections before they took place. Where do you think he was standing when he said “Tsvangirai will NEVER rule Zimbabwe”? The voting however was in favour of Tsvangirai in every sense. Only reason why they are taking forever to officiate them is because they cooking the results so Mugabe can win..

Ah, hmmm….
these results leave a lot to be admired!
If there was hope in Zim,then the opposition would be leading the race by great lengths, not what we are seeing and hearing!
However, never rule out the option that the results are already known-but counter measures are being put in place, either to change the actual outcome or worse…

Thank God at last theres gonna be change in Zim whether today or tomorrow as we are all waiting 4the results - hopefully MT wins. Being proudly SA.i’m just tired of Zimbabweans begging by the road side or becoming victims of theft and prostitution here - now its gonna be high time for them to go back home ……….please we need space- its overdue.

zvakaoma vanhu weee. we should win this time ans never allow them to cheat us. some food for thought; if someone votes for mp and senator for mdc MT, how can they then vote for mugabe as president, it will be rediculous. keep this in mind when they wnat to cheat us. we still have renewed hope for zim

Hey Coceka, do you have any idea of how it must have been for the Zimbabweans? They are not the only ones begging along the roadside. In fact, they are prepared to work for money, unlike our folk. Walk a mile in their shoes and then consider you choice of words. I have 5 Zim families … black and white in my employ and hope that I never lose them. They are loyal, hard working and honest. Are you?
