What is taking so long…?!

ZBC (State television) is constantly reporting that Robert Mugabe and ZEC will not accept pre-emptive announcements from MDC, and any action like this will be considered as an attempt at a coup. The armed forces are on high alert.

Zimbabweans are waiting for Morgan Tsvangirai to claim victory (we have seen the results outside the polling station doors) and do not understand why it is taking so long?

Everyone is now convinced rigging is in place.

The debate raging is whether Morgan Tsvangirai is waiting for the ZEC to finish announcing and if ZEC will hold true to their mandate.

ZEC has not announced anything since 7.30am. What are they up to? What plots are they hatching?

People have gone to work, life is back to “normal” but is it?

Nobody knows what the reaction will be if and when ZEC announces Zanu PF victorious.

the reason why they are taking so long is becoz mugabe is rigging,we all know that..if zanu wins, they will be no other alternative but to do like what happend in kenya becoz enough is enough ”’mugabe must go”’.

The only way to dispose of this government if it rigs elections again is to go to WAR. Hapana kusiri kufa. I am very much prepared to take arms alongside whoever is willing. We have to fight like everyone else in Africa we cannot depend on the West to make the first move or to take the first initiative. WAR is the only solution to dispose of Mugabe. I am tired of living in exile, we got our indepence through war and negotiations. This time there is no room for negotiations lets all rise up in arms my fellow brother and sisters. Mugabe has deprived us of a normal way of life and it is time to give him hell. I will try and setup a website where we can all converge and decide whats the way forward for disposing Mugabe’s illegitimate government. I am for military confrontation and I give myself to you my fellow Zimbabweans to be part of the struggle.

Irrespective of what the instruments of state are forced to declare, it is clear that, should Mugabe be allowed to take this election that Mugabes Zimbabwe will become Zumas south africa.

I do not hold the view that Mugabe is a bad leader, but do hold the view that the measure of Mandela’s leadership was handing power to, what the next few days could prove, a worthy leader.

It is the process of handing power from one to another that is the test of leadership.

Let us hope Mugabe follows Mandela on this path!

The results so far go a long way in confirming the folly of the two MDC’s in not uniting. Count the MDC and the MDC(Tsvangirai) votes, add them up and compare with ZANU(PF) votes and IF THEY HAD UNITED ,Mugabe would not be breathing by now. The Arap Moi syndrome.Tsvangirai’s selfshness is now working against him.Still do not understand why he refused to sign the document but, Ooops it should have something to do with AIDS - errh Aquired Interllectual Deficiency Syndrome.

I wish the people of Zimbabwe the best of luck at getting rid of this monster Mugabe. I am with you. Let’s hope we can have an orderly transfer of power and the sad old old man goes quietly. Perhaps North Korea will allow him a place for his last years….. Shame on western nations who failed to exert real pressure.

My fellow Zimbabweans, Mugabe owns the army, the police, the supreme and high court judges as well as the ZEC. There is no way he is going to lose this election. He’ll rig his way to power. I’m 10000% positive he is going to be declared the winner. No tyrant will ever give up power voluntarily or concedes defeat. The only way to kick out a dictator is through violence. We should not let Gushungo get away with it this time.

Do not underestimate the trickery of bob&co. Before they pack their bags they will have to be convinced that there is NO way to cook the books. Those thieves are past masters at stealing a beautiful country. May they rot in hell!!

Why is there a delay in the election results????
we pray that our brothers and sisters in Zimbabwe can find the power to stay calm in these trying times….a government as carning as Mugabe’s will use all the dirty tricks to frustrate people and force them to revolt so they have every excuse to use violence on their own people.
You are not alone the whole world is watching…..

The PVT and ZESN evidence is compelling - Morgan and the MDC has won. This needs publishing widely, with photographs. We are just waiting for ZANU to (try and?) steal an election they lost. But elected governments, like the MDC, do not have to ‘protest’ or ‘oppose’, after this attempt, after the fictitious numbers have been announced, since they are the legitimate rulers already - they are just waiting for this to be ‘legally’ confirmed and an inauguration to take place. Ideally, they need only take up their places in Parliament and rule. There is no higher authority to protest to - except, of course, military might backed by violence headed by a military dictator. And there is no ‘legal’ authority that we need wait for: the ZEC is not that. Perhaps we do not have to rush to have heads broken after the ZEC has pretended to do its job: this is undue deference to the trappings of offialdom, and will walk right into Mugabe’s trap: the ‘opposition’ will then be ‘protesting’ and soon the ‘government’ will be ‘restoring order’. The whole language will work against those who have actually won, time will pass, the international media will eventually lose interest, and protestors will die. Instead, the MDC could behave like a government would - laugh at the rediculous attempt to capture the ZEC. Other countries can behave as they should, respecting the right of the elected to govern. The MDC announcing they have won is not a coup, since technically Zimbabwe has no government at the moment.I am waiting for the Foreign Embassies, European countries and the US to send their congratulations to Morgan, and to invite him to take up his seat at the UN. If anyone else says they have won a diplomatic silence should prevail, and all Zimbabwean economic relations will have to be frozen: you cannot legally trade with a country where there is not a legal government, only a bunch of thieves, since the Central Bank and currency are not authorised. Remember the Orange Revolution? A stolen election does not have to stand. Internatioanl players should remember that Morgan and the MDC are the elected government of Zimbabwe. If in doubt, look at the evidence.

Well done to the people of Zim for voting out the dictatorship. Now we must keep up the pressure Internationally to stop the ZPF crooks from stealing the election.

The ZPF are even losing in Shonaland under the ZEC figures.

It’s taking so long because Mugabe is taking time to pack his bags, load your gold and foreign currency onto planes, and he’s have problems trying to find a country that will guarantee him sanctuary,

I hope and pray for the ordinary people of your once thriving country that once again your country will be great.

C’mon UK government once the despot goes help Zimbabwe regain what it has lost. I hope the siphoned money Mugabe has taken is found and returned to the rightful people.

Please please please I hope it does not end up like Kenya after their elections.

    GOOD LUCK

If the MDC win, I’m coming on holiday. I went to NY 6 months after 9/11, Madrid after they got attacked, both to show my support and help the local economy out. I’ll hopefully be over later this year. My housemate went last summer and tells me it’s still beautiful and friendly. I look forward to finding out for myself.

We dont want another problem but a solution. Vabereki i know its gonna be hard for you to adjust because circumstances made you currupt, you need to straighten up your ways and play a positive role in tha restoration of our Zimbabwe…
