The ZEC has now announced a total of 189 constituencies. Zanu PF have 93 seats, and are in the lead by two seats. MDC Tsvangirai have a total of 91, and MDC Mutambara still has 5 seats.
With this latest batch of results, the ZEC announced that they had made a mistake with Mazoe South, and they corrected their figures as follows:
Mazowe South
MDC MT 3599 / ZPF 3086 / MDC AM 1401 / UPP 178 /
now corrected to:
Mazowe South
ZPF 4109 / MDC MT 4052 / MDC AM 1401 / UPP 178 /
This ammendment correlates with the Parallel Vote Tabulation (PVT) figures recorded on the independent PVT website zimelectionresults.com. Parallel Vote Tabulation involves observation of the voting and counting of ballots at the polling stations, and independent tabulation of these results, parallel to those results released by the formal election authorities (ZEC).
The Presidential Vote results in the second graph have also been taken from zimelectionresults.com. The ZEC has not yet released results for the Presidential Vote. We are still waiting for an official announcment.

Lupane
The ZEC result for Lupane contradicts the PVT result, and gives the victory to Zanu PF instead of MDC Mutambara. Clearly there is a fix going on for that constituency.

I am very confused… no doubt what is intended. Many of the above are not on the list of 23 recounts?
From an earlier report I got results of the Zvimba North recount as:
ZanuPF (PVT)7000 (ZEC)6784 (RECOUNT)6939 [= +155]
MDC-MT (PVT)2300 (ZEC)1701 (RECOUNT)1714 [= +13]
MDC-AM (PVT)300 (ZEC)944 (RECOUNT)916 [= -28]
Now back to the ZEC figures: ZPF 6784 / MDC MT 1701 / MDC AM 944 /
?

Also for Zvimba North, the press earlier reported:
“Zanu PF Senate candidate Virginia Muchenje, announced duly elected with 26 274 votes after the first count, was up 261 votes while her opponent, MDC-Tsvangirai’s Fidelis Chiramba, improved on his 12 651 total by 295.”
Which meant the RECOUNT shows increased totals:
+556 votes for senate in recount
+140 votes in parliament seats

OOPS! sorry… I see the above results are for 2 April… such a long time ago!
Apologies if I have added any further confusion!
