MDC to hold press conference - 12 noon today
Word via the grapevine is that MDC will be holding a press conference today in Johannesburg, South Africa. It looks like the announcement of the press conference is being circulated by sms.
Heads up to journalists, the sms we’ve received says it will be held at the Devonshire Hotel at 12 noon.
We’ve no idea what it’s about, but latest news on BBC is that Ban Ki-Moon has said he will hold talks on Zimbabwe with a number of African leaders on the sidelines of a UN summit in Ghana.
Mr Ban said he and the leaders at the talks in Accra would discuss “how to get developments there back to normal”.
Earlier, it was reported that Kofi Annan said this:
… asked what African governments were doing to resolve what he called a “dangerous situation” in Zimbabwe following last month’s contested poll.
“On the question of Zimbabwe there has been substantial international attention,” he said.
“The question which has been posed is: Where are the Africans? Where are their leaders and the countries in the region, what are they doing?
“It is a rather dangerous situation. It’s a serious crisis with impact beyond Zimbabwe.”
I hope Thabo Mbeki is noting his use of the words “serious crisis“.

thabo and bob are friends and sa will see to it that bob stays in power for this and the next election in 5 years time. remember thabo is the boy who said hiv does not cause aids, crime is not a problem in sa, and zimbabwe is not in crisis. sa is the next african country to go into civil war mind you it is probably there already given the horrific crime and murder that is completely out of control. can zuma fix it? it seems blacks cannot manage countries in a democratic way with one or two exceptions. whites and foreigners beware.

The fact that Mugabe has ruined Zimbabwe doesn’t imply that blacks cannot manage countrie in a democratic way. Are you judging the potential of 12 million people by Mugabe. Mugabe has none of a typical Zimbabwean credential. After all, his forefathers are from Malawi. That old man was always a failure from independence. Thanx to Sally Mugabe, Gabriel didn’t expose most of his cruelty until another adulterous lady by the name of Grace Marufu came to light. Are the results from the recount being displayed again? I think three days is just too much to count 23 constituencies. I have a feeling ZANU Pf want to narrow the gap for the presidential count so that they may have a few ballots to stuff in during the inevitable re-run.

A few months ago my dad informed me that he was going to buy a motorbike.
Now i do have a lot of respect for him, therefore in normal circumstances I would have possibly agreed.
But my dad is 90 years old.
As much as i tried to persuade him that this was a perilous idea the more he wanted one.
That was how it stood, until a fellow senior citizen whom he respects had a quite word in his ear, telling him what a fool he would be.
Later I had a word with a manager of a nursing home, who informed me that most, but not all people who reach the age of 70 suffer from many different forms of mental illness.
Paranoia being the main one.
Mugabe’s independent day speech Highlighted the fact with his mannerism’s and the dialogue within the speech . That this man is without a shadow of doubt mentally ill
It accounts for the all the illogical decisions made by him since he passed the golden age of 70.
People close to him must know this.
I think the Chinese are aware of it too.
Why would they send arms to Zimbabwe via boat.
Why not fly them in if they wanted him to have them.
Now is the time for someone to have a quite word in his ear,
I hear his wife has had a go, but obviously the respect is not there.
The only man who can do this job is

I mean here is a Nobel Prize coming to talk to the old man what is the wost that could happen? He will say no. So be it the world will simply say humm this Man is against peace.

Does SADC have pre-determined election analysis
1.. They declared the elections are free and fair weeks before the indefinite outcome
2.. Why is was there a re-count when the elections were fair
3…Was it by coincidence that the order for Chineese arms be placed just 2 days after 29 March elections.
4.It can only make sense that the re-count be that of parliamentary elections.. The presidential results are still unknown to “everyone”.We cant re-count unknown results..

ZUMA the new head of the ANC is a friend to ZIM. WE need ZUMA to help us. I ask ZUMA to urgently call for a vote of no confidence in Mbeki and get himself installed as the president of RSA. Then he will be able to help us. In the mean time Mr ZUMA use your contacts in the Union movement to help ZIM. First cut electricity to our country!
