Sokwanele et al,

Judging by the apauling images on UK and some International TV stations and blogs the situation at MDC HQ and rural areas is bad and going to get a whole lot worse.

I hope that all the emails being circulated to contacts everywhere about the Zimbabwe situation are porving valuable or at least making those in power feel ashamed if they have not done something about it when ythey could have.

As for MPs in the UK, one of your bloggers is right theyare as much good as a chocolate fire guard! I have contact several in the Uk and they reply that it need USA and other coutry intervention as nobody listens to Great Britain in Zimbabwe.

In some sense this is true. Where are all those brave heads of other African countries? Why are they not taking direct action to sort out Zimbabwe or are they too interested in still recieving Bob's Christmas presents.

After living many years all over Africa I am worried that you might be in for another Ruanda down there. You must encourage everyone to catalogue what is happening and record with witnesses what you see, the times, dates and eact locations are now a vital process. You can still go about your business as far as you are allowed and with a smile stay a while and watch and record what is happening. Be strong because on judgment day the evidence will be you devine retribution but you must have all the facts and nothing but the facts.

Yves: some of those photogrpahs are of people who have been beaten in recent days by the regime.

They have taken refuge away from their local areas and apparently some have sought shelter in the MDC headquarters. True, we don't know exactly if those precise faces were there today and affected - but they exemplify what's happended to individuals and why they've tried to find a safe place.

Why do you link to photos ("some of the injured") which are totally unrelated to this story?
