Munroe family update: 14.40pm

An update on this post here:

A meeting took place at Nymandhlovu police station. The head of the district police came out from Bulawayo to meet with Inspector Moyo who is the new ZRP policeman newly placed there.

Wayne Munroe’s father in law, who helped set the meeting up, was accused of over-reacting. The police stated that there is no trouble on that farm; that there is no danger to the people there and they denied that there was any theft taking place.

Two of the “war veterans” were called into the meeting and they repeated the same story that there was no trouble or danger on the farm.

In fact, looting of crates and crates of tomatoes is taking place as we write this and there has been no attempt yet to stop it.

The claims by both the police and war veterens that all is well are clearly false.

The outcome of this latest meeting is that Wayne Munroe’s father in law has been banned from returning to the farm.

In the meanwhile, Ursula Munroe has asked that her gratitude and thanks are passed on to everyone around the world who is trying to support them. She apparently received a phone call at 3am this morning from a concerned person in Kosovo and is very grateful that so many are watching the story unfold and helping to keep them safe.
