ANXIOUS MOMENTS
Its obvious that MDC will agree to participate in the inevitable run-off but the results of the previous elections should not go unchallenged. They should also address need for a peaceful, free, fair and democratic environment for the run-off

Thanks the MDC Leader has decided to stand in a run off. I wanted to make my representation on the mdc website, but it seems none is updating it at all.
I hope someone in charge of that website should do their job for us mdc supporters.
My biggest worry now is the run-off, I think mdc needs to do a lot off ground work now.
I say so because where i come from in the rural Mashonaland Central Province (Guruve) people are now afraid to vote for mdc.
Yesterday there was a ZANU-PF rally, which the war veterans told the villagers that they will killed if they voted for MDC and that all the known MDC supporters has to pretend to blind,so that they will be assisted by war veterans in police uniform posing as police officers,so that they can see who they have voted for.
ZANU-PF is holding rallies everyday and beating MDC supporters. Now many local MDC supporters are now afraid of openly representing their party in a run-off, that can leave a lot of room for ballot rigging because MDC will not be
represented at all polling stations. MDC must try by all means to make sure that they have enough
staff at every polling station and they should not allow war veterans and police officers near polling stations. Mugabe and company are very good at rigging elections, watch out MDC.

EVIL DIPLOMACY
The MDC should be hailed for making the anticipated decision. People should also understand that in Zimbabwe ALL media belongs to ZANU PF that is why Tsvangirai makes most of his press conferences in SA. Private media is all banned except for a weeky financial newspaper so its difficult to convey any mesage effectively whilst in Zim. Mbeki has now decided to leave his quiet dimplomacy to adopt an evil deplomacy stance on Zim. His secrets talks with Mugabe are a clear testimony that he supports Mugabe’s attempted genocide. Mbeki is a silent assassin.

It might sound prudent for the MDC to go for the run off,but everyone who anticipates change must equally take decisive action as follows:
-ensuring that within your area of influence everyone eligible for voting is going to vote.
-notifying others who have been victimised that it is their right to arrest, prosecute and send the dictator to jail by voting, even if you go limping
-conscientise the electorate that currently Zanu PF is registering all youths from the age of 17 by ensuring that they obtain ID’s and register in the rural areas.
-advise others that Zanu PF is busy campaigning in the rural areas where we are totally barred by their militias ,and where also there are no bans on groupings unlike Harare ,Chitungwiza and other urban centres.
-that even if you have been beaten and being eligible for voting ,go exercise your right to elect ademocratic leader (Morgan Tsvangirayi)
