Everyone has the right to State-funded education from pre-school to primary level.
Everyone has the right establish and maintain, at their own expense, independent educational institutions of reasonable standards, provided they do not discriminate on any basis prohibited by this Constitution.
An Act of Parliament or a provincial law may provide for the registration of schools referred to in subsection (2) and for the disestablishment of any such schools that do not meet reasonable standards prescribed for registration.
